Affected Routes: Central East North South UChicago Transportation has partnered with Lyft to provide a discount code good for $2.00 off each ride initiated between the hours of 4 a.m. and 6 a.m., seven days per week, within the boundary of the current night ride service. The discount codes will update monthly, and the June code is UCHICAGOJUN. When using the Lyft app, you may input this code to redeem $2.00 of each ride. As part of our response to ridership during the Spring Quarter, the University has taken these operational steps to ensure the health and well being of our community. The Regents Express & South Loop routes, will not be operating during the Spring Quarter. Beginning at 9:00 pm, each evening, shuttles will operate approximately every 30 minutes until the end of service. South Route Changes As part of the response to ridership during the Spring Quarter, the University has taken the following operational steps to improve service for our community: Beginning on Sunday, May 10, 2020, the South Route will begin operating every 15 minutes; between the hours of 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Additionally, the South Route will incorporate a new stop at the Southeast corner of Cottage Grove & 61st Street, across from Jewel-Osco.
